Theresa L. White, Ph.D.

Research Interests
	My primary research interests are in the areas of learning, memory, and sensory psychology. In order to maintain expertise in these areas, I am a member of Association for Psychological Science (APS) and the Eastern Psychological Association (EPA).
	Most of my previous research has been in the psychophysical study of human chemosensation (the senses of smell and taste) and cognition. For general information about the senses of smell, taste, or flavor, the National Institute of Health & Human Services maintains a page on these topics. I am a member of the Association for Chemosensory Sciences (AChemS), a professional organization that also provides information about chemosensation to the public.
	I have also been involved in neuropsychological and psychophysical studies that involve people and animals. In order to keep up to date with new information in these areas, I am a member of the New York Academy of Sciences (NYAS) and Sigma Xi (the scientific research society).
I am currently involved in several projects, including one that concerns the scholarship of learning and another that explores neuropsychological function in people with Parkinson’s disease.
