The Media: Then and Now

The interviews you did and reports you have prepared involve three areas:

(1) schooling and education,
(2) relationships with family and friends, and
(3) entertainment, relaxation,  and the use of free time

between your generation and the generation when in the later part of the last century

We will split into four groups and discuss with each other what you found for each of these issues:

• How was the older person's experience different than your own?
• How was the older person's experience similar or like your own?
• What most surprised you or made your think about your generation vs. the older generation?

After 20-25 minutes, we will gather again as a full class and review what came up in each group.
