A1	All set (across) to neighbor; turn neighbor halfway by right. All set to partner (along line); turn halfway by left.
A2	Set to neighbor; turn neighbor halfway by left. Set to partner; turn halfway by right.
B1	Left hands across. Right hands across.
B2	Circle left once around Drop hands and walk two places along line (men in lead) & turn single left.

Becket formation is a contra-dance formation in which couples face couples across the longways set. It was introduced by Herb Gaudreau in the mid 1950s in a dance called the Becket reel. The Becket reel contra dance is named for the town of Becket, Massachusetts. I chose to name this dance after an English town that has associations with a famous Becket.

Contradance version

A1	All balance to neighbor; pull by left & pull by partner right. All balance to neighbor; pull by left.
A2	Partners swing. Lines forward and back.
B1	Star left. Star right.
B2	Circle left once around Drop hands and walk two places along line (men in lead) & turn single left.
