Le Moyne College, Syracuse, New York. November 1999- Present.
General Duties: Provide primary support for Faculty in the use of existing
technology at the College and research and develop new technology initiatives
to enhance instruction and assist faculty in supporting the educational mission
of the College. In addition, work in conjunction with the Support Services team
to provide general computer assistance and connectivity for faculty, students
and staff. Specific responsibilities include:
- Primary responsibility for administration
and management of the College's Blackboard course management server. Responsible
for setting up faculty and student accounts and instructing and assisting
faculty in publishing course information online.
- Primary responsibility for all
faculty training initiatives.
- Chair the College's Academic Technology
Advisory Committee.
- Coordinator of RESNET for opening
2000 thru current. Coordinated IT staff in getting 500 first-year students
connected to the campus network, including documentation, accounts, software

General Duties: Instructor for an
entry level computer science course. The course was a hands-on course covering
basic introduction to computers, basic computing systems, a short unit on HTML
and in depth overage of the Microsoft Office Suite including MS Word, MS Excel,
MS Access, and MS Powerpoint.
ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, INFORMATION

General Duties: Provided primary
support and direction for the public computing labs, distributed electronic
classrooms and the administered the student program for Information Technology

General Duties: Provided technical
support, repair and troubleshooting for IBM, Macintosh, Novell Netware, Microsoft
NT Networks, multiple software packages and hardware issues.

including establishment of peer-to-peer network for Auburn Central Schools.

General Duties: A full-time, temporary
position responsible for all assessment functions within the division; computing
resources, including network setup and administration, computer training, installations,
troubleshooting, and hardware and software purchases; development of new publications
for the division, and revisions to existing public relations materials and staff
manuals; liaison with Admissions office for opening weekend, perspective student
tour days and the First Year Early Alert program; and data analysis, special
reports and research for the Director.
- Provided technical support to
professional staff in the establishment of new network links between the Central
office and the University's eleven residence halls for 40 Macintosh computers.
Coordinated the installation and redistribution of computers and established
training sessions for clerical staff on new software applications.
COMPUTER CONSULTANT, SINGER
TRANSPORT INC. , Syracuse, NY. February 1995 - August 1997.
General Duties: Work directly with
the President conducting selected inventory audits and balancing company books
with selected clients. Responsible for providing computer support for inventory
and financial data for the President.
- Investigated an inventory shortage
of $18,000 reduced companies responsibility to only $1,500.
- Developed an original computer
program for the President to facilitate weekly reporting of sales revenue
and profit and loss statements to the company Board of Trustees.
- Developed an original "user friendly"
inventory management program for computer novices to reduce inventory problems.
Program was interactive and automatically printed all necessary paper records
and tracked inventory of selected commodities.
DIRECTOR OF STUDENT ACTIVITIES
(Interim), Onondaga Community College, Syracuse, New York. October
1993- August 1994.
General duties: Worked with the
Student Government and campus clubs to develop a comprehensive program of activities
for a diverse population of 9000 students. Monitored budgets totaling $600,000.
Assisted Director of Athletics in developing and maintaining all aspects of
the College's Intercollegiate Athletic program, including budget, scheduling,
public relations, eligibility, and supervision of coaches.
- Developed and implemented training
for Student Officers, Senators, and other student leaders.
- Developed a proposal for the
centralized coordination of scheduling of campus activities, involving computerized
booking and confirmations.
- Revised the colleges off campus
housing data base from paper to interactive computer database.
- Developed faculty resource guide
for use by students and others for programs and presentations.
- Proposed and implemented a comprehensive
revision of funding for the colleges Intercollegiate Athletic Program. Provided
for a stable base level of funding from the student activity fees.
- Proposed and implemented that
Intercollegiate coaches become college employees rather than employees of
the Student Government Association, providing more accountability for athletics.
- Assisted in revising budget reporting
format for the Student Government to accurately reflect allocations and expenses
for both fundraised and student activity fee monies.
- Assisted in revising the college's
new student orientation to include increased faculty interaction and a larger
educational component.
- Conducted a comprehensive review
of the Intercollegiate Athletic program and its compliance with Title IX.
Made recommendation of additional women's teams to bring the college into
compliance.

General Duties: Coordinated housing

General Duties: Coordinated all
aspects of a residence life program of 1350 students, four professional staff
and 38 Resident Advisors in five traditional residence halls, three houses and
student apartments with non-salary budget lines totaling $70,000. Assisted in
the coordination of judicial proceedings, facilities planning, summer housing
and conference operations, dining services, and housekeeping operations. Participated
with the Student Life Staff in determining campus policies and coordinating
campus events.
- Chaired Alcohol Policy Task Force
charged with developing a comprehensive new alcohol policy to comply with
change in the New York State legal drinking age from 19 to 21 years of age.
Responsible for implementing new policy in the residence hall system and educating
students on the changes.
- Developed and tested a comprehensive
Quality of Residence Life Survey to be issued annually to students to gauge
satisfaction with facilities and programs offered.
- Revised resident advisor staff
selection procedures to make the process more rigorous effective.
