I was born in Palo Alto, California on 10/22/42. I received a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley. I have an MA and a PhD in Statistics from The American University. My research interests are in statistics education and statistical applications in the social sciences.
Outside interests include playing golf, computer games, woodworking, and doing needlepoint.
