  VOLUNTEER/INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Sometimes work at a local volunteer agency can count for
internship credit, as long as it is related to your education and
career goals and you fulfill the basic internship requirements. As
with any internship, it takes 42 work hours, (typically 3 hours per
week for 14 weeks) to earn 1 credit, or 126 work hours (typically
9 hours per week for 14 weeks) to earn 3 credits. However, this can
be done over a longer or a shorter period, depending on your
