Announcements Extra Credit

Students in this class may gain a total of 15 points (out of 500) in extra credit by doing up to three exercises as listed on the attached web page. The due date for all extra credit reports is the last day of class. Note that I increased the number of credits to 15 from the 10 I had originally announced earlier today in class. If you have any questions, please ask me in class rather than be email (unless you are desperate for an answer!)

Fri, Nov. 13, 2009

I added information to the extra credit options about Dr. Batcho's experiment at this link.

Course Information

Textbook:  Weiten, Wayne (2008). Psychology: Themes & variations - Briefer version (7th ed). Belmont, CA: Wadsworth/Cengage.

  • ISBN-10 = 0495100587
  • ISBN-13 = 9780495100584
  • NOTE: This is the BRIEFER version, not the regular version of his text. Be sure not to purchase the wrong version.
NOTE: IF students use the 6th (2004/2005) edition, they should be sure to read the corresponding pages in that version to the material being taught from the new (7th/2008) edition. Such students should also be sure to take good notes in class for any new materials not found in the 6th edition. Don't use any edition earlier than the 6th. Though I don't insist that you buy the 7th edition, I WILL hold you responsible for material in class covered from the 7th edition.
