My clinical background is in Emergency Medicine. I practiced both community and academic emergency medicine for over 11 years before I was asked to found a new Physician Assistant Program in 1995. I was recertified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine in 2001, and continue to have an interest in the practice of emergency medicine.
