A1	All cross the set (passing partner by the right); gents march down the ladies' side of the set All cross the set (back to own side); gents march single-file up the set.
A2	Right hands across. Left hands across (to home).
B1	First corners set (in place) and change places (right shoulder). Second corners set (in place) and change places (right shoulder).
B2	Partners set (in place) and change places (right shoulder) Partners two-hand turn.

This tune is associated with English soldiers going off to war. The storyline has the gents marching off in a square: up, across, down, and across back home. After other maneuvers, they return to their partners ("The Girl I Left Behind Me") for a two-hand turn. Then off they go again.
A1: The gents are marching for the entire A1; the ladies cross the set, first with their partner and then with a current or past corner. (The revision was to change the gents' clockwise march from one that began marching UP to one that begins marching ACROSS. This way flows better into the stars.)
A2: The stars are with the current minor set--which may not be obvious to the second gent, who is just coming back up from marching down into the set below.
