This is just a reminder that leaving early for Columbus Day or Thanksgiving or returning late from Columbus Day or Thanksgiving is not permitted in this class. This is especially so because the class before and after the Thanksgiving break are case presentations and attendance at case presentations is mandatory in any case. Anyone who misses any of these classes and does not produce a medical excuse will be given significant extra assignments in order to pass the class or required to drop the class at the instructor's discretion.

This suggests some excellent ideas for college students.

While the date is correct, the time given on the syllabus for the final examination is incorrect. The correct date and time are Monday, December 11, 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The correct time has now been put on the online syllabus on the home page.

The topics and teams for the case presentations have now been posted on the case presentation link.

Dates for class presentations for each topic and for jury duty for those presenting on each topic have now been posted on the case presentation link.

There appears to be some uncertainty about when your case presentations are "due." That is, when you have to hand in the written presentation. The answer to that is they are due the day you present them in class. So if you and your group are presenting your case on November 16, then you'll have to hand in your presentation at the end of class that day. If you are presenting on November 21, then you'll have to hand in your presentation that day and so on for all the dates.

The final examination for CJS/SOS/LGS 321 will be held on Monday, December 11, at 9:00 a.m. in room SCA 100 (Science Annex).
